The Clinical Research Office, reporting to the Scientific Director, is able to give all necessary support to scientists for submission and revision of documents regarding clinical trial protocols, both externally sponsored and internally driven, to the San Raffaele Ethics Committee for approval and authorization. In 2008 the Ethical Committee has examined 228 protocols, 114 of which were sponsored by Pharmaceutical Companies.
