Viral Immunology Program (VIP)

The Viral Immunology Program (VIP) coordinates the main institutional entities devoted to the research on the interaction between pathogens and the human host, with particular focus on HIV and AIDS. The different Research Units located at DIBIT interact on the one hand with the Division of Infectious Diseases of the Centro San Luigi (that incorporates other Research Units) and, on the other hand, with the Laboratories of Virology and Microbiology of the recently born Laboraf Spa, located on the main campus of the San Raffaele hospital to generate diverse program of clinical and basic research concerning the host/pathogen interaction.
