In the post-genomic era, large scale analytical tools are necessary for high throughput protein characterization. Proteomics analysis of biological samples is a rapidly expanding field encompassing both broad-based screening and strategies focused on analysis of discrete subproteomes. We set-up high resolution 2DE systems used for the identification of proteins differentially expressed in different pathological and physiological conditions. In particular we are interested in tumor immunology and neurodegenerative diseases.
