Molecular Oncology
Unregulated cellular growth and neo-angiogenesis are two hallmark in the development of solid tumors. My laboratory is interested in addressing the role of the principal growth factor receptor named EGF receptor involved in the growth of most carcinoma tumors and in studying molecular aspects of angiogenesis. The aim is to define at the molecular level their mechanisms of action and development and therefore being able to regulate these two steps in the oncogenic process.
